"The only limit to our realization of tomorrow will be our doubts of today."
~Franklin D. Roosevelt
Life can be difficult and unpredictable at times, leading us to face obstacles that can hold us back from living our best life. Sometimes, we just need encouragement and support from someone that will listen non-judgmentally and help us face the challenges in our lives. Counseling can be a process of healing and discovery, and I am passionate about helping people achieve overall wellness so you can live their best life and be happy.
As a graduate of Lindsey Wilson College, with a M.Ed with specializing in Mental Health Counseling, I have spent much of my decade plus career building experience working with a variety of topics ranging from domestic violence to women's issues to family conflict to parenting. I also have experience working with individuals who have struggled with depression, anxiety, grief, self-esteem, anger, communication issues, and trauma related issues. Additionally, my background includes extensive expertise working with victims of domestic violence along with both individual and group therapy experience with older adults facing grief or life transitions. Supervising and mentoring the next generation of counselors and therapists is also a passion.
As a native of the area, I am grateful and excited to be of support to a community where my roots run deep. Working to provide quality, affordable services, meeting you where you are in your journey, and providing a caring, unbiased, environment to explore and grow is where we begin. If you're ready to take the next step towards a happier, healthier you, let's connect to explore how we can create an approach tailored to your needs.
