Most people coming to therapy are longing for something to change, and I’m guessing the same is true for you. Maybe you feel trapped in the same thought loops, hijacked by your emotions, or overwhelmed by too many stressors. Perhaps you’ve carried an emotional injury for years, forgotten how to be yourself, or are exhausted from conflicted relationships. Deep down, you wish for peace, purpose, and connection.

Meaningful change is possible, though it sometimes requires a little extra support to achieve. As a companion on the path to change, I bring a passion for learning about the human heart and mind, listening to people’s stories, encouraging them grow, and celebrating when they overcome challenges.

In the beginning, I take a conversational approach to getting acquainted and exploring the current issue. As the work continues, I try to actively collaborate with clients by asking a lot of questions, reflecting patterns, clarifying goals, sharing tools and insights, pointing towards resources, and seeking feedback. In sessions, I’m usually relaxed, respectful, and direct. Full transparency though, humor and nerdiness come through once I get to know people. Jokes and references to podcasts or books are also likely to be featured in sessions. Additionally, I comfortably roll with crying, laughing, and even swearing as clients feeling authentically seen and heard matters.

If this sounds like what you're looking for in a therapist, please reach out to schedule. I'm looking forward to meeting you!
