Starting therapy can be daunting, and finding a therapist who is the right fit can be even tougher. I want you to know that I am so proud of you and am so glad you are here! I believe that we all need someone to talk to, and I would love to be that somebody for you! Going through life can be challenging, and it may feel like too much to handle on our own. As your therapist, I will meet you where you are and walk alongside you on your journey. My goal is to provide support and tools that empower you in whichever phase of life you might be in.

A little about me and my approach.

I obtained my bachelor’s degree in 2021, worked in the mental health field, and decided I wanted to get my graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I enjoy meeting and helping as many people as possible while learning about myself as a therapist. In my free time, I love spending time with my husband and two sons in nature or cuddled up on the couch watching a good movie.

My approach is psychodynamic; however, I understand each person is unique and may benefit from a different approach. This is where I meet you where you are, learning more about your goal or goals, topics of interest, and what works well based on your feedback. I also enjoy working with adolescents/teens, adults, and couples and am trained in EMDR as I work to finish my certification. I am also a part of the Association of Animal-Assisted Intervention Professionals and have a 7-year-old German shepherd who is a certified therapy dog through Pet Partners. We volunteer at local hospitals and assisted living homes as a therapy team. If you believe I could be a match for you, please feel free to reach out. I look forward to meeting you and starting this journey together.
